Ice? HuH so glad to not have to deal with that stuff here. Although we did get cold enough for a fire in the fireplace this week.

Only in the plastic waterers...the rubber bowls are awesome..It was only cold enough for freezing temps one day

I lerv my cookie tin heaters. I only have one coop that is so cold it gets ice in spite of the heater.b

I am not crazy about sweltering in the summer here. But I have gotten used to it. I can go build a coop or ride my horse in the summer-but I usually wait till after 7pm.

Other than the opressive hot humid weather for 4 months, we also have 8 months of absolutely sheer blissful weather. It's worth the tradeoff. AND, it's always hotter in San Antonio than it is here! 95 degrees is about the limit.

I'd be sitting out back by the coop with my girls under a nice shady tree with a large glass of ice tea.

I can't do mister, I tried. It doesn't go well with the high humidity. But fans are great, all my girls have a fan-or two
