Question Joni, How do I tell males from females??? What are tell tale signs to look for-I'm praying they are pullets at least 1!!! Otherwise I'm ordering more eggs from you!!

I cannot tell the difference when they are young but - take the Silver laced ones for instance...
photo #2 hen - shorter top hat and thicker...

photo 4 roo - longer top hat and thinner than the hens

all of the photos are hens except the 4th one and if you look at the top hat - you can tell a big difference...his is much longer and not as thick as the shorter top hat of the girls

you can also see his comb - like a silkies right on his forehead - the girls dont have that....
