I have two barred rocks and one of them is throwing me for a loop. I'm heavily leaning towards it being a roo. I've had a few people assure me that (s)he is a pullet, but I'm not so sure. The bird in question doesn't have some of the "typical" rooster coloring of BRs (has dark legs and dark barring), but has always been more developed and I SWEAR I'm seeing saddle feathers. I can't have roosters where I live, so I'm debating whether or not I should try to sell sooner and maybe replace with a pullet. I'd hate to sell the bird in question, only to find out later that I gave away a perfectly good pullet.
This is my first time with chickens, so I could really use some help.

Here you can see the size comparison of my two 12-week old BRs from above:
Hackle feathers are much pointier and fluffier than my other birds, and the saddle feathers look a little longer. No crowing or mounting the other hens yet, so I'm not sure what to do!
