Hello,
We have two 12 week old Ameraucana easter eggers that we got from our local feed store. We are new to chickens, so we are having trouble figuring out if they are hens or roosters. Both have single combs that came in early, and from what I have read, it is not a typical trait for EEs. We are unable to have roosters where we live, so if that is what they are, we will have to start looking for new homes. Please let us know what you think! Thank you!

I agree pullets.
I have a few "home-made" hens that have single combs and yet, lay green and blue eggs. I just refer to them as easter eggers.
Let us know what color eggs you get.
