NBD either way, but I was just wondering what everyone else thought. The girls who sold it to me said it was the most friendly hen they had hatch out. But I got home I started to think "she" looks a little manly. It is the red one with the blue underfluff that is in question. The guy in the back in the first pic is most definitely a rooster.

That my friend most definitely looks like a cockerel.

It is an EE rooster....patchy coloring, red on wing bows. Further the saddle is beginning to develop. 100% rooster.

BTW, male chicks are often taken for the most friendly because they are not afraid to go up to people, being male and typically more assertive.
