Hi there! Any help would be great on Maybelline, our 12 week old Lavender Orpington. Pretty sure a roo but it seems hard to tell! Not quite sure about feathering. Also concerned about integrity of genetics because of feathering. Read that the lavender gene is closely related to gene that causes stunted feathering?? He or she has become a favorite and is so sweet and docile. Any info is super helpful, as new to the chicken life!
