I caught one of my chickens running around (like it was a grape) with a dead baby bird in its beak. Cornered her and knocked it out of her mouth. I didn't think that looked right ....now I know its normal.

One year moving hay bales in the barn corner; we lifted one up and their were so many baby mice running around. The chickens immediately started after them like crickets. The chickens went one way and I went the other !

That is so cool ! I had no Idea Chicken would eat rodents!
I have 12 Kittys 4 dogs 1 African gray and 22 5 day old silkies....
and 2 Plymoth Rocks and 3 Black chickens I have not figured out yet.. LOL
