12 week old pullets?

I have 4 twelve week old pullets. I've noticed more and more feathers on the poop tray. None have any bald spots. Could this be them losing baby feathers? These are my first birds so forgive me if this a dumb question.

well chickens are always going to lose feathers.....they pluck them out, sometimes they fall off because they are old, and sometimes when they fly(attempt) their feathers come out....Yes it could be baby feathers coming out though....and as for the poop...They are getting older now, so thats gonna come with a price, they are going to poop A LOT MORE!!! Believe me, my chickens are just 2 weeks older than yours so I know what im talking about lol

They have mini-molts that occur before the yearly molt.

Thanks on the feather question reply. As for the poop tray i use pdz and love it. They are poop machines.
