12 wild turkey eggs??

So, my dad was mowing a field when he came across a dozen eggs. He decided they were turkey eggs, and I don't know what to do with them... will the momma turkey come back or will she not because she lost some of her cover from the weeds? If she doesn't come back should I try to put them under one of my hens?

Any advice would be appreciated...

I would leave them. She might or might not come back, but in most (if not all) states it's illegal to mess with them, and in most states you need a permit to possess wild turkeys.

Would she move them? There are 2 missing. Or do you think something else got some?
