12 wk old bantam chochin was fine last night, and this morning. Something is very wrong! Helllppp!

So proud of her chickens are amazing

They are .. my parenting force was strong the last few days with this little one I wonder how my human children were ever allowed outside, when im going through hell and back to save a 0.5lb baby chicken

She is chatty, and very restless this morning, so I brought her outside to see how she does, and monitor her for a bit before the heat of the day sets in...she ran around a bit.. chased some flies/wasps.. she is eating soft eggs ferociously... still not really seeing her drink a bunch if at all.. and still with some occasional "peguin" stances and crop adjusting.. I'm just going to keep going as long as she's going until whatever this was passes.. though, after the last few days, im definitely going with a respiratory illness of some sort..

Glad that she is outside and fairly active. She may also eat some very watery chicken feed made fresh in a small bowl.

Yeah, her energy level dipped pretty quick so I just brought her back in.. but she was out and about. she has been picking at mash in made for her in her crate.. im gonna go grab her/kids some raspberries/strawberries/watermelon and see if she will take something with a high water content.. but it bought me sometime to clean out her crate..little baby chicken steps.. still cautiously optimistic with how she is coming along.. ive read so many posts on how they "seemed better" and then crashed out.. so i want to stay the course for a bit until she stops the crop adjusting and is just acting like a normal chicken.. she is a big noisy fluff ball... so she has given me a good reference to when she is doing better she has a "twin" and they were talking to eachother through the fence like she was in prison
