12"x12" nesting box a good size for two araucana-type hens?

This conversation began in the community nesting box thread.

I'm thinking that this size box would be large enough for two. Though, I don't even know how large my hens will be.

Help!

A 12" x 12" will be big enough, even for hens that are a bigger than true Araucanas should be. You may even find that two crowd in there together to lay at the same time and they will manage.
