12 year old hen gasping

hello, i have a 12 year old bantam hen named golden ticket. this morning when i let the flock out, she stayed in and wanted to sleep more. sevrall times i tryed to get her to come outside, (its nice day 2day) she went back in to sleep. i looked at her carefully and noticed she was making whistling wheesing noices when she took a breath. kind of a strangled noice. i took her inside.she doesnt have an appitite realy but i got her to eat some banana. ive had her inside 4 2 hours or so. im realy worried, i love her and ive had her since i was 2 years old. any advise to what it might be would help! thanks a lot!
