13 week ild Chicks and 3 year old hen are barely outside.

My chickies are barely in the run whenever i go out there they are usually in the coop for some reason. what should i do?

How long have you had them? Have there been any predator attacks? Perhaps something hassled them when you weren't home.

I've had all of them since they were chicks, so june 2017 and june this year. there was an attack of a bear that killed my other hens, but only with my adult hen and shes outside more than the babies.

I had a dog attack and the chickens wouldn't come out for a week and I didn't get any eggs for over a month.

in july, however like i said the babies were atill inside and it's definitely more them than my hen.

Thank you, sorry if i'm being annoying about this. I really don't think it's the attack though, if it is something like that maybe like the bear came back and shook the coop ( its a plastic shed reinforced with wood so it shakes a little and i can't get hot wire yet ) but gave up when we were asleep or something else tried but nothing actually got in. because i let them have access to the run awhile ago and they only started to do that within the last week.

There are always opportunities for predators to worry chickens unless you sit with them 24/7.
I get coyotes passing through a few times a week, not to mention other predators.

How long have they been living with the hen?
She may be keeping them in the coop....hope there's feed and water in there.
