13 week old duck behavior question

I have a 13 week old female duck, who lays down for me and my husband when we approach her, she isn’t mating yet .I have an older flock, she is the youngest, she completely lays down and we just pet her. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what this means. Thank you

She is in her submissive stance when she does this. Like she would do for a drake.

Well if you were a drake she would be giving him the come on. But all you can do is just pet her she must like that too.

13 weeks is young for wanting to mate. My Runners were around 4 months when they started throwing themselves at their drake.
