13 weeks old Mallard outside over night?

Plus are you sure she will be able to find food? since she has been taken care of by you she depends on humans to feed her.
Tell us again why you are doing this?

The why is easy; we found her as an egg and the plan was never to make her a pet, but to help her get back to where she belongs. And she will be fine for food as she has been outside 24/7 and foraging her own food by most part for the past month.

@arnaromarsson how did the release go?
Hey, so she stayed close to us the whole time, didn't fly onto the lake or engage in the other ducks so much, so we ended up taking her back home with us. We're gonna try again Friday. The ornithologist we have been in touch with said we could leave her there and she would be fine, but we're gonna do it in steps.

She would have been abandoned poor thing I am glad you brought her home. Don't you live close to water?
