130 lumen flashlight at Walmart

I found a 130 lumen Coleman flashlight at Walmart yesterday for $24.99. You can focus the beam - either small or large. It works great and I could see through all but the darkest marans eggs.

I STILL could not see anything in the olive eggs I have incubating.

Just thought I'd let y'all know... it works great.

I bought a rechargeable police flashlight that has a 300 ft *throw*. It candles through even the dark maran eggs on high beam enuf to see if there is growth by 10 days. For earlier it is hard to distinguish the veins through those dark eggs. I LOVE it. It really opens up the egg to see.

I have that one too, I use that along with a mini mag light on the other end of the egg,at the same time, and you can see even more!!!!Try it!

I know! I kinda feel bad shining that light in there. I was getting frustrated though... I have so many eggs in the 'bator and I couldn't see anything on over 2/3 of them.

Gosh there have been lots of these threads lately!

I'm cheap...my best candler was free - a very old slide projector! Wood! It sees through concrete walls!
