Hi, all. My four year old leghorn is not acting like herself. Lethargic, hard abdomen, and purple comb. No wheezing, she's eating some yogurt with Nutridrench. Thought maybe she was egg bound again, but she pooped (pretty normal) so I guess not? Could she still be egg bound?
She seems a little more perky after eating the yogurt, but still has a purple comb. She has for a few days. I read that it could be worms, possibly, or something like internal laying or EYP, considering she's a leghorn.
Any tips could help. I live in Maine, and it's been around 20⁰F at night and 45⁰-50⁰F during the day. She's inside right now.
