Don't know if there is another thread like this (sorry if there is!), but I would like for people to share farm products and hacks they've discovered that are perhaps unusual but are very useful.
My very favorite farm gadget is the boot puller. I use it every single day and every time I use it it makes me so happy. It saves my back and legs from straining, my hands from getting dirty, AND my boots from getting holes in them!
Next is a hack that I came up with. I set my chicken waterers on old glass microwave trays (I collect them
). I used to have a problem with my cheap waterers leaking onto the bedding, but not anymore! Microwave trays are very durable and easy to clean. I do elevate them on a couple cinder blocks.
