Hole day 5.. membrane intact

So I tried to seal a hairline fracture in an egg with clear nail thickener gel. It stuck to my thermostat and when I turned it I broke a small hole in the shell. I applied more gel and moved it away from my thermostat. But now I'm worried about a stink bomb in my incubator. Should I chuck it or see what happens?
