Hi all,
Firstly I'm new here, so I'm Joel, live in Yorkshire with my Mrs, a ginger pusscat and most recently 3 female khaki campbell ducks.
We've only had them 2 weeks, following their adoption at 5 months old.
They've settled in very well and are very much making our garden their own, however one of them appears to have a significantly enlarged abdomen at the back end behind her legs. So much so that it's touching the ground when she's on the grass.
Following reading other advice on here we've tried giving her a few warm baths, if nothing else just to give us the opportunity to examine her.
The swelling feels soft, and we can usually feel an egg in there.
She seems generally fine in herself. She's eating well, laying probably every other day, her eggs have good solid shells etc. She's not having trouble walking or running around with her sisters, though when she's sleeping she's visibly moving more than the others as she breathes.
Diet wise, she's mostly seemingly eating insects etc that they're digging out of the garden, but they have plenty of "stakeholder" layers pellets and super corn
She's pooping normally.
Any ideas or suggestions as I'm getting a bit worried that 10 days on and there's no sign of improvement.
