Pinky started puffing up and her vent was dirty. Her abdomen also became very red, swollen and hard. I checked for an egg inside but couldn’t feel one although she was swollen very tight. She hasn’t been laying for a good few months now although she’s only about two. Her comb is still red and she’s eating and drinking fine but her poop is long and dark with white/green foam. No worms present and she was wormed about a month ago. She will run over when called but otherwise is not as active as usual, or as chatty. Searched online and gave her daily warm baths with Epsom salts, scrambled egg with cinnamon, water with honey and lemon and yesterday treated her with human thrush suppository. It’s about day five now and she is definitely improved (especially the abdomen which is still hard but much less red and swollen) but still her posture is still one of discomfort. She is walking normally and not ‘Penguin-squatting’ but when she sits she does not look relaxed and won’t stretch out like the other birds, just sit’s with her back end elevated and breaths harder than is normal. See pic - Pinky on the left. Is there anything else I could do? Should I be giving her daily suppositories or waiting for the first one to finish working? Thank you. 🙏

Poor Pinky.

I'd always be concerned that there's an egg stuck in there, and give her a 600mg calcium citrate tablet just in case. If she's eating, you can crush and mix it into a small amount of food. Otherwise, just pop it in her mouth (by gently pulling down on her wattles) and she should swallow it.
