Good afternoon, folks!
I've been having some problems with a condition called waterbelly lately. I had a hen who passed recently who had it and now have seemingly two more who have waterbelly. They have all been Gold Stars (ISA Browns), a little over two years old. I have somewhat recently started wetting down their mash before feeding them and also bumped up their protein to about 23% in an attempt to get more eggs. I used bean meal to do so. I recently have also helped a chicken who had a broken eggshell in her vent. I now also have a younger hen, who I believe may be egg bound. I don't know if something I have changed may have caused this or not.
If you have any tips or experience please let me know!
Thank you!
