Thursday she was a acting a bit werid, but still eating, scratching, etc..... Friday morning I found her in the coop, on the roosting bar, she didn't come out. She's acting lethargic! No strength, nor energy. Head is down. Closed eyes. She won't stand. Wings are limp. Tail is drooping. She had a thick mucus coating her mouth. I mixed up some honey, water, poly vi sol( w/o iron), electrolytes, complex B, and and gave in by syringe. Hands on exam she feels skinny. No signs of egg bound. No wheezing or rattle in the chest. Battles are red. Doesn't seem swollen anywhere. Closed mouth breathing. She starts open mouth, and breathing faster if I give her a syringe. Crop feels empty. She did perk up after a few hours of syringeing her. Atleast she could hold her head up. I gave Safeguard yesterday morning. An injection of LA 200 yesterday morning. I've put Corid in her water. She will not eat, or drink. She just lays there. This mo8she is lethargic again, with a mucus coated mouth. Her eyes have a bluish tint to them now.
. I hate to ask, but how is she doing?
