14 month old Hen stopped Laying

Hi,

I have a barred rock hen who recently stopped laying about 1 month ago. She is only 14 months old. She did lay all winter. I have dewormed her and her comb remains large and bright red. She seems to act normal otherwise. She has laid two abnormally large oval shaped eggs since stopping. The first one was quite bloody and the second one was body checked and wrinkly. I’m perplexed as to what might be wrong with her.

At some point prior to stopping laying did your hen appear to be suffering from the 'sniffles"? Sneezing perhaps? Drippy nares?

no, not at all. No signs of illness whatsoever, thats why I’m so confused.

I also have a 14 month old hen (Sapphire Gem) who consistently laid all winter long. She was the only chicken that laid all winter with not additional lighting provided. Now she has not laid an egg for 5-6 weeks. It is summer here, her comb is big and red as usual. She did not molt when the other chickens did last fall, and her feathers are ragged and worn. But she does not seem to be going into a molt, nothing new is falling off or growing in. She still goes into the nest box regularly but does not produce an egg. She is eating, drinking, scratching, dust bathing, and interacting with the three other chickens normally. I have added electrolytes to the water to help with any stress. Any other suggestions? Interested to see what people say for Spoiledhens21 or my similar problem. Thank you in advance!
