14 new baby chicks!

This is my first time raising chicks, I love these fluffy little ones! A few of them are already a week and a half and the rest are around 4/5 days now
Breeds are: 2 whiting true blues “Teeter & Maggie
2 gold laced polish .. unnamed right now
2 blue laced red wyandotte “Pewter & Blue”
2 barnevelders “Chippy” one unnamed
1 salmon faverolle “Peaches”
1 bielefelder .. unnamed
1 black copper maran “Raisin”
1 mottled houdan “Howard” my fiancé named her lol
1 speckled sussex “Benjie”
1 Columbian wyandotte “Julie”


Peaches had an eye that was closed up and gunky, looking much better now, but sadly the conditions they were in at the hatchery has cause them almost all to have dried poo balls on their toes and very pasty bums. Cleaned up all their bums but still working on the balls on the ends of their feet

We are envious! Waiting a bit longer as we want to add a couple(3) new chicks to our flock. Fun having little ones but got to be careful not to fall victim to "chicken math"!

The houdan is so friendly! Loves being held and as soon as she hears your voice she comes over and looks up at you to be held it’s so cute haha
