I have two (started with five; one was a roo, one got eaten, one was kinda mean so we gave her away) And they are the most beautiful things!!! I highly suggest them... my profile pic is one of them!

I ordered one, but the day of hatch they called me and said they didnt have enough so I substituted the swedish flower hen with this olive egger! Maybe this coming spring I can get one!

Which week in June did you purchase? I was just counting for the first of June,which would make me 16 weeks. And pullets can begin to lay at that age.

Ok. I think I have to change my guess to cockerel. A pullet just wouldn't have a comb like that at that age. I would say because it's a OE, it might be slower developing, and that may be why it doesn't have male feathering yet.
