Hi everyone,

We have three silver laced wyandottes and three golden laced wyandottes who are fourteen weeks old. We picked them up as day old chicks from our local hatchery back in November. They are out growing their 4' X 4' brooder and are picking at each others feathers, so I do not know if there are even enough saddle feathers to tell the gender. Do any of these look like cockerels, or are they all pullets? There are two pictures of each chicken except the last one. Thanks guys!!

Thanks for letting me know.
Lacy definitely looks to have sickle feathers.
Yikes!! I paid 4.23 for a day old male chick then. (They were vaccinated for Mareck's)
Have you ever got a refund from a hatchery if the chick was male not female?

Wow. Glad to hear it though I'm really surprised.

Hope I have your luck next season!

Lacy is a cockerel, IMO. You see that black "collar"? That is a male trait in the Silver Laced Wyandottes. Pullets are like your first one up there, more evenly laced in the hackle area. Hope she just feathered in weird and is trying to freak you out, lol. Can't really tell about the others, but they seem like pullets. I can't tell about Nugget, who someone else ID'd as a male.
