14 week old White Cochin - Normal redness around eyes or a concern?

Normal development for a white cochin to be so very red and a bit swollen around eyes? I thought nothing of it, especially after looking at pictures of full grown white cochins, until a friend's chickens began to get sick - possibly Marek's. We have been back and forth and swapped chicks weeks ago. Just wanting to get some thoughts. This looks fairly normal to me. She is concerned.

The 8th pic down you can see another pic of a cochin's eyes.

The top pic you posted looks abnormal to me. The bottom pic looks normal to me.

I don't know what it means though. I have not dealt with that before.
