I am ashamed to admit that I am unsure just how this has been going on. One of our pullets walks directly on her lower legs not her feet. She also does not stand on her feet. Is this a common malady? Anything I can do to help/ rehab her?

Picture please .... Any other symptoms?
Only other symptom is a left limp. Her feet don’t curl up around my finger like the others do when I hold her.
See attached pics. She is the little white - sits back on her haunches. Fends well for herself against other littles and our mature hens re access to food and drink.

How's she doing? I'm dealing with a similar thing, one of my 5 month old olive eggers sits like that a lot but is walking fine. One of her sisters was attacked by the other hens last weekend and died a couple hours later, but I am sure something was wrong with her that caused them to attack her (and be able to catch her). I also have a serama rooster that went lame (right leg) about 2 months ago and an Ameraucana hen in his pen that has been lame in the left leg for about 8 months. I did lose a serama pullet in that pen last fall and was sure it was mereks the way it presented and progressed (she died after about 1 1/2 months), but now I'm not sure. At first I thought the other birds had mereks but it hasn't progressed and the roosters actually gotten better. I have been treating with vitamins and high protein food, with no change. Now I think I'm dealing with MYCOPLASMA SYNOVIAE. I am starting tylan 200 and will see what happens.
