Pretty sure I see those saddle feathers coming in on the lower back, they're gonna be skinny, shiny and pointy. He may be growing them in around his neck as hackle feathers. They may come in darker, is the dark patch on his lower backWould you say without a doubt? Unfortunately I can't have a rooster where I live and this one is my daughters baby she raised. At 19 weeks, she's definitely a pullet.Hi! Hoping someone might be able to help me sex this one. He/She is 19 weeks old and I am aware about the shredder gene being present. That’s what is making this sexing difficult for me. If I go by comb/wattles at this stage I would say hen. But the saddles/hackles to me just look very elongatedwhich would mean rooster. Please correct me if I’m wrong, would love some help!! Thanks in advance.
