After feeding my button quail I noticed her standing odd and immediately freaked out thinking she was chocking because of how she was swallowing (She’s almost died of chocking before and has had siblings die) when I picked her up she felt luke warm, limp and light. She’s usually a very sassy and snuggly bird but I’m holding her now and she’s pliant and sleepy and won’t let me touch her head. I don’t know what’s wrong and I can’t begin to explain the sheer attachment I have with this bird (we snuggle for hours everyday). Any idea what I should do?

To start, keep her warm. Look for any injuries. Can you post a video to Youtube and link it here?

Now for the interrogation - the answers to these may help us help you.
What is your set up like?
How many birds do you have?
What are you feeding her?
How old is she?
When you say she's light, has she been losing weight? Is her keel prominent?
What does her poop look like?

What feed do you use for her? Is her cage near any sources of draft? What age? There’s so many possibilities.....egg bound, prolapse, impacted crop, chilled from draft. How are her feet? Have you removed poop balls lately? I definitely recommend giving nutridrench, roosterbooster, or electrolytes like sav a chick in her water for a few days and more information and/or pictures

Luckily she's alright now still not sure what happened though. I know she had already had her egg for the day. As for the other questions, she'll be a year old this June, her toes are a bit red, I keep her bin in front of a heater, and I clean her bin every 3 days.

Thanks for the help, she's all good now but I'm still not sure what happened. So maybe the questions will help answer that?

She's set up in a tote bin with one other button (Her male partner). I have her on pine shavings.
As for food and water, she has a water bottle and I feed her unmedicated game bird food but right now she's finishing off a bag of chick starter.
I also give her small finch seeds, millet, mealworms, oyster grit, and normal grit (all of which she had that day).
She'll be a year old as of June 25th.
She doesn't seem to be any lighter than usual and her poop is normal.
Her keel also felt normal and she had already laid her egg that day.
So in total, I really have no idea what happened :(
