Oh. That's too bad. Maybe your hen is bullying your other hen? Molts I've seen are often spring or fall. My hens I'm expecting to molt this fall.

I think she is. It's funny because way back in the brooder fifi badly pecked at kelly and now kelly is pecking and bulling fifi. Maybe she wants revenge. Good to know I hope that fall molts happen for mine too!

well I also used D E powder in the nesting boxes, are yours still laying? If they are check the eggs for mites and lift up their wings and look under the feathers for mites
