Help! I think an undeveloped egg is stuck in my hen's vent?? Prolapse? Let it pass? Bath?

Hello! My chicken Blue here has always been a slightly problematic layer, she lays the hugest eggs I've ever seen, and to be honest I'm not sure how she's done it this long (she's about 2.5). This morning when I went to take care of them, I noticed this giant white bulb like material sticking out of her vent and it looks stuck. She isn't acting weird at all, she's trotting along like nothings wrong, feasting and scratching as usual (again--she's always been weird) she's also going through an extreme molting phase after our rooster was getting very frisky with her.

Should I let her try to pass it? I'm worried that it'll block her internally and cause internal infections. Could it actually be vent prolapse? If so, what should I do if I don't use a chicken vet.

Thanks!

I t could be a vent prolapse or some malformed egg or egg membrane. Give her a human calcium citrate tablet with d, or a Tums to increase her muscle contraction to help pass it. I would consider soaking her in a tub of warm water. Exam it an see if it is a prolapse, a prolapse with an egg or possible lash material. If it is not a prolapse, try to gently remove it. Take clear pictures of it once you have done this. A prolapse must be kept from drying out by applying honey or ointment. I will check back in later on.
