His name is Nilo and he is my baby; the first rooster I got when I started my own flock last march. He is my favorite, but most of my hens are bantam and he is just so big. He lost all the points off of his comb last winter, but he is a gentleman - dances and tidbits for the girls, is never intentionally rough, and always shares treats. I keep several large fowl hens around for him, so I will be willing to send some with him if you want. There are also chicks and bantam hens, just ask if you are interested and I will tell you what all there is. They are hatchery quality. I want him to go to someone that will not eat him and will let him free range, or at least give him lots of lush space; I am vegan and would treat him that way, and I want him to always be happy. I am only getting rid of him because I have to, otherwise he would stay with me until he died. I will try to get pictures.

I have exactly what your looking for. Hi my name is Ray. My daughters are true vegans and I am working on it. We have some chickens as well. For me they are companions in the yard as I garden. I have 3.5 acres most of which they are aloud to feed on. I also feed them fresh things from my garden plus normal feed as well. Many trees line my back yard many fruit and nut. Strawberries grow nearly everywhere back there as well as all the clover they could possibly want. Trust me there are no plans to eat my chickens and they will die from natural causes not by my hands. They are my friends. Just ask beakers my 5 week old asian blue rooster who is a rescued roo. He loves it here. If you do decide to send him please send a couple of hens as well. If you cant I understand. Though My post office here always has chickens in it unless its Christmas.

Thank You,

Ray
