I am looking at getting a incubator. I have narrowed it down to the 1588 or reptipro 6000. both will have the auto turners. I like the fact that the reptipro is all plastic and not styrofoam but id like to know how the 1588 does as far as hatch rates. The Incubator will be on my computer desk i think because it has the most stable temperature. I want to hatch mainly chicken and duck eggs, possibly some turkey and guineas. Another possibility is someone locally has 7 gqf 1202s for sale for around 300.

I would go with the 7 incubators for 300, ONLY if they have egg turners.

I like the genesis, and have heard lots about it, the new genesis is digitally controlled, and the Reptipro is also digitally controlled. I would go with the genesis, because if anything fails, I know that getting parts for the genesis would be easier, and are more readily available than the parts in a Reptipro.

well the guy decided he didnt want to sell the 1202s.. and chris assured me parts were available for the reptipro
