Starting late April after I confirm fertility we'll be offering BLRW hatching eggs.
Please don't ask for smaller order9. This is good stock with a lot of potential and I'd like to get it out there for people to work on. The idea here is you'd find a good breeding pair or trio of what is hatched. There needs to be some numbers hatched for good representation and potential for improvement.
I'll post photos of the breeding group when spring is here and the final breeders are selected. Sire is Blue, Dams will include one splash- the other two will be blue making for breeding quad. That means eggs will be collected for more than one week for shipping. I have no problems with two week old eggs hatching but disclose this for those that feel there is an issue. By the time you receive and rest eggs for day the oldest will be pushing two weeks.
I'm hyper critical therefore reluctant to bash my own birds. That said- two things to look out for in this line are side sprigs on combs and shafting (light color line center of red). I culled hard for those two things. Type is good, tails could use some lift but have width, leg color very good, red is red not "golden" and the blue is about right. Note the splash will throw lighter colored blue. She's being bred due to excellent type despite being splash. These are fine birds with plenty of genetic diversity for a person who wants standard bred to maintain and hopefully improve.
