16 week old Araucanas..will they lay in winter?

I have heard that araucanas do lay year around. I didnt know if I should do anything special for them like feed, something in the chicken pen or what? Since the winter months are here and it is starting to get cold just thought I would see if anyone had any ideas or help

MY Leghorn was hatched on Memorial Day and she started laying at the beginning of November...she laid all the way through the winter of her first year. But Leghorns are a "light" breed, and Aracaunas are a "heavy" breed so they mature later.
