16 week old GLW- Pullet or cockerel? I thought roo for sure, (which would mean the second time Murray McMurray has sent us the wrong gender for this particular breed!), but I am getting thrown off because the one we had who turned out to be a roo had MUCH larger legs and and a much more developed comb at this age. This one's legs and comb/wattles look the same as the rest of the pullets. I'm not good at identifying the pointy neck or saddle feathers which I know should be a give-away at this age. Obviously I can see that they do look pointy, but the pattern also makes it tough because there are certain feathers that look pointy but when I put my finger under the tip it is an illusion of the lacing and the feather is actually round. But s/he had a fairly bright red comb and wattles compared to the others at a super early age, so I've assumed cockerel all along, and temperment is quite bold (although I know you can't necessarily go by that). So here is our Bumblebee, let me know the verdict! Thank you!
