I have 4 16 week old pullets purchased from TSC as Sagitta’s, I found 2 tiny eggs this morning one was soft shelled the other was hard shelled but covered in tissue/membrane? Is it normal they would start laying this soon and should I be worried about the egg that was covered in the membrane?
pictures included and also a picture with a egg laid by one of my year old EE’s.
Thank you in advance for any advice!

Weird eggs are not unusual for girls just starting to lay. Their reproductive system is revving up and working out kinks, so to speak!

BTW, I’ve never heard of Sagittas. Do you know anything about them?

Thank you! That’s what I assumed also.
the lady that sold them to me at TSC said they are a fairly new cross breed, picture attached from a hatchery about them. So far they are much friendlier and docile than my EE’s and they don’t bully like the EE’s.
