Good morning everyone.

I have kidney beans with bacon and onions in the crockpot. It’s an old family recipe.

Anyway, other than that I’m not gonna be doing much baking this week. I have a biopsy tomorrow on my thyroid, and a follow up appointment two days after that.

The ultrasound tech explained to me the process of what they’re doing, something called a “fine needle aspiration.” Even with that explanation, I have to admit that I’m pretty nervous. Not about the biopsy, but about what the results might be.

I will let you all know how it goes once it’s over.

They nuked mine as it was mad as all get out.

Out of the biopsy. The numbing agent felt like 1/2 a bee sting. They successfully got the samples. Results in 3 days.

I also had a fine needle biopsy of my thyroid, I am not sure they even numbed anything, and I really didn’t feel a thing, after that they removed half of my thyroid ( were supposed to remove all of it) in hindsight I am glad they left part of it, cos a friend of mine had a total removal and it took them weeks to balance her calcium and hormone levels

I also had a fine needle biopsy of my thyroid, I am not sure they even numbed anything, and I really didn’t feel a thing, after that they removed half of my thyroid ( were supposed to remove all of it) in hindsight I am glad they left part of it, cos a friend of mine had a total removal and it took them weeks to balance her calcium and hormone levels

When they Nuked mine had a bad crash allot faster than they thought.
