I have some bad news - you will never want to be without a Boston again! 🤣 Congrats on the adorable new addition to your family!
I already want another one. Lol. I was dead set on getting a bullmastiff but am so glad this girl showed up. I would never have gotten a female dog either cuz I just don't like them but she is amazing.

I will likely only ever have female Bostons. Or at least always have one female Boston. I've been too afraid to get a male because of all the stories I've heard and read about them being so crazy and getting injured or killed because of it. 😬

You do need another. I only keep female dogs. Males drive me bananas with peeing on everything, and well, that equipment. Girl power here. :)

Male Bostons seem to be more prone to getting into trouble - they tend to wander more and have more energy. My first Boston's father lost an eye in a fight (I think) with his son. A friend's landlord's Boston lost an eye after being kicked by a horse. Dorie's previous owner had a male Boston that ran out in the road and got hit and killed by a car. Same thing happened to someone else I know. All males. I prefer female dogs anyway, like @oldhenlikesdogs .

Ahhh okay. I feel like some of those were just freak accidents but I do understand.
