:lol:Tinkerbell, the one I thought wasn't going to make it for a while brought yet another smile to my face today when she was the first of the 6, er 5 (one turned out to be a rooster) to lay an egg. Cigars for everyone. I hope her sisters catch on to the idea.

I had my first this week too, then one by one three more have laid. So I think your girls won't be to far behind Tinkerbell.

My spring hatch eggers are still trying to get the hang of their job. Twenty weeks and counting on some RSL and RIR hens. Should be any day now on the RSL ...

there is a list of all the different breeds and when they start laying, compiled by a forum member. I got talked out of Rhode Island Reds and regret it, not that I don't like the birds I have, I would just like to also have RIR's. Maybe next pring I'll add a few to the flock.
I'll watch for your announcement, hope it is soon.
 
Thanks, we're a bit overdue on the RSLs, but I'll cut the RIRs some slack!
