I got two “cuckoo marans” from a local farm store 4/4th and one quickly started to look bigger, and also just totally different than the other. I’ve had cuckoos before so I know what they usually look like once they start getting feathers in.
I assume we have a rooster that got mixed up and is a different breed too, but also wonder if maybe a jersey giant just bc of the size difference.
I’ve tried to get some decent pictures. I also included one of everyone to show the sz. We do have serveral olders in w younger but all are within 3 weeks of age of each other.
