Ducklings externally pipped over 24 hours ago!

Hi, sorry this is my first time hatch any type of egg but I have 4 Pekin duck eggs in the Bator. All have piped over 24 hours ago but aren't making any progress. They are still alive and chirp and wiggle when they hear me. Do I just need to sit on my hands? Sorry like I said I'm new to this.

I would say after 24 hours you should, very gently, help them out by making the pipped area a little bigger over time.

Thank you for responding! The one I'm worried about has made any progress but I can still hear it breathing. I'm going to see if mother nature can take it from here.

Ducks take a long time to hatch. I have had some that take slightly longer than 48 hours to hatch after external pip. Most take 24-48 hours

All four duck eggs hatched and I now have 4 healthy ducklings!!!!
