I have a duck egg that is now 60 hours past external pipping and still hasn't hatched. It is likely malpositioned as it pipped about halfway up the egg instead of in the air cell. Its sibling hatched 24 hours ago without assistance. It appears to have stopped making the chewing motion (although it does open its mouth every so often) and is just breathing regularly but I am worried that the blood vessels have not retracted properly. I dampened the membranes with coconut oil, and I'm seeing some thin red veining, which would normally keep me away but the fact its been 60 hours surprises me. I've gently removed the shell over the pip to try encourage it to come out but I think it may have to be a full assist. Sorry for the picture quality not being the best, I didn't want to pull it out of the incubator, but does anyone have advice?.

Got it out, had to remove a large amount of shell and membrane for it to be able to push itself out. It has some of the internal membrane stuck on its wing so I'll have to figure out how to get it off without damaging it.
