I’ve been treating my chickens, new baby chicks, for five days and I’m still seeing bloody stool. I cannot manage to figure out who it is leaving the droppings because there are a lot of normal droppings in the coop. I don’t know if I should up the dose of the treatment. I don’t know what to do. Leave in four days for a trip and have a friend sitting and was trying to get them healthy before I leave.

I would always use the maximum treatment dose if using Corid. That is 2 tsp (10 ml) of the liquid or 1.5 tsp of the powder per gallon of water for 5-7 days. Then, you can reduce that dosage to 1/4, and treat for an additional 5 days. Do you notice one that is hunched and not eating or drinking? You can also give a drench of Corid 0.1 ml or a drop orally once or twice a day if one seems very weak. Encourage them to drink the water, and a little treated water could be mixed with some crumbles to eat.
