Hello! I've been lurking and reading lots: we acquired 5 elderly hens when we bought a smallholding a couple of months ago. Sadly we've already lost 2 of the hens, but we also have three 5-week old chicks (two hens went broody soon after we moved in!), so far this chicken keeping is one big rollercoaster!
