17% Kalmbach OK for layers??

Feed store was out of 20%, which I fed before.
Is 17% OK--my big girls are 3 yrs old.

Hi,

you will be ok with that. Many brands are only 18% since they are 3 you are ok.

Most layer feeds are actually 16% protein. At 3 years old, that's all they need, perhaps unless they are molting.
