Thank you! I love their combs that lay over like little hats lol. Breeding the white egg layers and welsummers to my cream legbar roosters will give me easter egger chicks.Congratulations. I too recently added 6 brown leghorns (one died falling off the roost) to my Welsummer flock. They look very similar except the comb & white ears. I am working toward Welsummer breeding for my area. So, I wanted some egg layers that looked similar and easy to distinguish the eggs apart.
Since then, I've really grown fond of them. They remind me of Miss Prissy from Foghorn Leghorn cartoons.
