Checking in again on this young one. The cockerels of this hatch have all gone to their new homes and are getting the job done already. This one has always made me wonder if it’s still a late bloomer or maybe and early pullet.

Neck never gets red, only head and ears. Minimal wattle growth compared to others. I don’t see any saddle feathers coming in.

Totally a pullet, and totally agree...

Notice how her father has long flowy feathers right over his back before his tail? That's male feathering... she'll never have it and no pullet ever will as its completely a male trait. At this age, its the easiest way to figure out your boys from your girls.
 
@Frazzemrat1 oh yeah the saddle feathers. I was noticing they weren’t pointy but this birds seemed to have it’s comb and wattles develope early but never fully colored up onto it’s neck. I knew in the back of my mind but she’s one of my favorites so Ifigured she’d soon break my heart and be a boy! ;).
